Can you believe September will be here in a week? It seems like just yesterday we were preparing for summer wedding season and now here we are getting ready to go into fall. If someone finds the magic trick that slows time a little bit please let me know!
I am absolutely loving shades of purple for weddings this fall. Classic, rich, romantic, and versatile, purple just might be the perfect fall wedding color palette. Looking to incorporate purple into your big day? Here are some ideas for how effortlessly do just that.
Keep it Simple: One easy way to include purple into your big day is to add touches of it into your neutral wedding decor. This cake is a perfect example of keeping everything simple and elegant and adding that pop of purple with the floral detail. Opting for whites, creams, and other neutrals and adding purple where it will really pop keeps it from feeling overwhelming.

Play with shades and textures: Gone away are the times where you had to pick one shade of a color and stick with it. These days it's all about mixing it up. One of the things I love most about purple is that there are SO many gorgeous shades of it. From lilac to plum you really can't go wrong. Don't be afraid to mix them all up together. All shades look great together and when accented by different textures and neutral colors they are bound to look absolutely stunning.

Use it as a neutral: Dark purple, eggplant, plum... they can all be used as a dark neutral. Pop of vibrant fall colors such as orange or burgundy look amazing against a purple backdrop and really set the mood for a fall wedding.
