Hello there :)
As a party planning lover I have to say that having a girl has brought on a whole new set of party possibilities. While I have loved throwing parties for my son.... girl parties really get my creative juices flowing. My little babe is about to turn 2 here in a couple months and I feel like it was just yesterday that I was planning her first (can she just stay little forever?!?). I've rounded up some of my favorite first birthday themes for all the momma's out there that are busy planning a big first birthday bash.
Up Up and away
This is one of favorites.... which makes sense since it was the theme for my little Gracie's first birthday last year. Pastels and hot air balloons make this a theme that is too cute not too love. Mix watercolors and florals to add some fun texture.
Wild and one
Alright so a moment of honesty.... this is the theme that most fits my little gals personality... if you know what I mean. Most one year olds are rather wild and this theme is a fun play on that. Tribal prints, feathers, tee pees, and the great outdoors are all fun elements that really set the mood for this party.
What screams girly girl more than flowers and glitter? Not much in my book. With this theme you really can't be too girly. If there were ever an opportunity to whip out the glitter this would be it! Pinks, gold, sparkle, and flowers every where is just what the doctor ordered!
Some bunny is turning one
Are you dreaming of spring as much as I am? If you're lucky enough to have a spring birthday babe this theme is made for you! Flowers pastels and bunnies make for a theme too cute to ignore. A great plus of this theme is that spring decor is so easy to find and almost any can be used for your party and then used again in your home decor.
